Cooperation Overview

Shanghai Tuyi International Trade has officially signed annual framework procurement agreements with three leading fatty alcohol manufacturers, covering lauryl alcohol (C12), myristyl alcohol (C14), cetyl alcohol (C16), stearyl alcohol (C18) and blends 1214/1618, effective for one year.

Background

As concentration rises in downstream home care and surfactant industries, customers demand greater supply stability and price transparency. As a supply-chain service provider focused on fatty alcohol trading, we need deeper upstream partnerships to address the dual challenges of price volatility and tight availability.

Agreement Terms & Benefits

Under the agreements, the parties will establish a monthly price consultation mechanism; we will receive priority supply allocation and more competitive procurement costs. The three plants will also open a customized-specification channel for our customers, where chain composition, purity and color can all be tailored on demand.

What It Means for Customers

  • More stable supply: priority allocation during peak seasons, avoiding stock-out risk
  • Better pricing: lower procurement costs from scale, passed on to end customers
  • Faster delivery: direct factory shipment shortens the supply chain; same-day dispatch in East China
  • More flexible customization: special spec requirements connect directly to factory R&D

Closing Remarks

This cooperation marks an important step in our \"upstream deepening\" strategy. Going forward, we will continue expanding partnerships with more quality manufacturers to deliver a more stable and efficient oleochemical supply chain service.
